Can some one Translate Chet speak?

Can someone Translate Chet?

In the faq, he answers and ag5 question involving diving tackle. And something doesn't add up.

accordingto him, diving tackle would make an ag 5 dodge, 2+. But his math seems a little convenient.

ag 5....check = 2+....+1 for dodge attempt = 1+....-2 for diving tackle = 3+

Makes sense to me

it jsut seems such a convoluted and roundabout way to be mistaken...his explanation has more twists than fermats theorem....It took me two minutes of solid gaping to figure out what he meant.

No offence Chet, I can't explain things in under five pages myself, it's just a tough anser for newbies looking for solutions
