Change to Piling On skill…
Even though I knew it was badly broken, I was a fan of the old Piling On skill. It made sense even if it unbalanced games. The new version of Piling On seems to be the polar opposite: it makes no sense whatsoever (re-rolling the Armour Roll?) but doesn’t unbalance the game.
So as a happy medium, how does this sound?
The normal Piling On rules apply (concerning placing players prone and all that) but instead of adding the blocking player’s ST to the armour roll (old version) or re-rolling the armour roll (new version), you add the difference in STs between the blocking player and the prone player. Therefore, as you probably realise, you cannot use the Piling On skill on a player with the same or higher ST than yours. This makes sense; after all, a Human jumping on an Ogre isn’t going to make much of an impact. But an Ogre can do a little damage to a Black Orc, a lot to a Human, and whole heap to a Goblin.
This change means the game is simplified (and thus quicker) and doesn’t unbalance the game as much as the old version. For example, an Ogre Piling On an average player (with ST of 3) in the old rules would add +5 to his armour roll. With this change, he’d only add +2, which is a difference but not an unbalancing one.
And finally, let’s treat Piling On like the Mighty Blow skill. In doing so, we’ll rule that no player with a beginning ST of 2 can gain Piling On.

I disagree, its still the same application on a st5 player with RSC they are team wrecking players
It doesn't sound as bad as it is in practice either but from watching teams on fumbbl even that change is still overpowered, sure they may go down every time but its not often it won't take it over the armour or they didn't need it anyway
I do think that the reroll to armour was a bit poo but you could simply say reroll it with +1 and it stacks but doesn't allow modification on the injury roll or something

The Big Guys are what really made PO hurt - and now the concept is out of the game places like FUMBBL will always suffer.
I don't like the half strength rounded up or down, and anything else is probably too complex ever to become official.
TBH I don't have a problem with PO being neutered anyway - you can still build killer teams - and there is a place for speciality skills (Norse Blitzers still like it - as does anyone with Claw).

Well.. instead of adding some bonus I would rather grant a injury-reroll incase the reroll wasn´t used on the armor-reroll. This way it would become more useful to all players and really scary on Claw/RSC-Player.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".
