Hello! Not sure if I qualify for any of this, but I won 3rd place in the Orlando Three Kingdoms Challenge, aka the Gumpta Cup! So what happens now?

Not sure but I think that 3rd places are only entered if awarded at a tourney. I think i's to do with the size of the tourney.

well the top 4 coaches at that tournament were all given a full team from games workshop

bit like all the prizes they send out to the tournaments i have been too

This may only be a North America thing because of the size of the tourneys I know of in Europe; there were 28 coaches at the Three Kingdoms Tournament which is the same size as the Canadian Open, and the two rank as tied as the third biggest on this side of the ocean - behind GenCon and the Chaos Cup.

It doesn't sound like a lot, I suppose, but it really was and I think 3rd and even 4th place at these tourneys deserve HoF mentions...

I think the criteria is/was that is something you have to actually be awrded. For example I placed third at Camcarnage, but because there was no prize/award for placing 3rd at the event, no entry.Some smaller tournies might rrecognise 1-3 or even 1-4, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. It's down to the TOs to decide what they're going to award, not us to set the criiteria depending on size of tourney etc. If you didn't get called up at the prize giving and get an award and a round of applause, then no entry here. Suck it up.

Well, for what it's worth, the Three Kingdoms Challenge DID have awards and prizes for the 1st through 4th place. They called us up, gave away trophies, and we got some good natured applause! So let us Florida ppl know!
