MA increase for linemen?
I have rolled a MA increase as my first skill for a Line Elf on my WE team. Should I take it or get a skill instead? I got two Wardancers (one with strip ball) and skills on three other of my ten Line Elfs (Block, Guard, undecided). No other players.
I feel like I should rather increase his survivability with block or dodge, or pick kick.
Is a MA increase useful in general for linemen?

I'd definitely choose Block.
MA-increases are generally helpful for linemen, but certainly not particularly important for rookie-lineelves in a woodelf-team. I made that choice once, and though that lineelf's movement wasn't bad, but I deeply regretted that choice when I had to replace him after a lethal block.

I quite like MA increases on lineman. Usually, I run them downfield as "alternate" recievers and see if my oppo forgets about the extra movement on them. It's a very good way to get some extra pressure on the defence while getting the extra SPP's for a second skill.
One of my favorite players for this was a HE lineman who got 2 MA increases as his first 2 skills. People just didn't seem to process the lineman's ability to move 10 squares in a turn.

ok in an advanced league get block first skill for linemen... but if all league 130TR or less get dodge first skill.
Very few teams will have more than 2/3 block, so therefore dodge on front line better than block. if your oppenent hits you they go down on a both knock down, and thus dont pick the dice. but dodge saves you 1in 6 and possible dodge out in your turn as well.
