Magic Helmet

Post by Tigerfrogg »

Ok i have only just bought the game of Blood bowl, the few games i have played have been very enjoyable, reading the forums on home grown talent a few people had players with magic helmets i have looked through the rule book and can find no reference to this, also people say things like ( I bought this player in for 200k ) which would imply that you could buy an upgraded player for your team not just freebooters ( i am talking from a league point of view ) Does my rulebook have a whole chunk missing ? i hope not as i am starting to get a grasp of the basics now, Or am i just being dumb and people are just chatting about previous editions of the game to which i have absolutely no knowledge of.

Magic Helmets came from the old Deathzone cards..currently irrelevent.
There's an updated LRB due sometime soon, download that when it's released, it's all you need to be 'current'.
You could grab the current one if you're using the recent Handbook, there's been some changes, but don't print it out or anything as there's v3.0 due soon.

Sorry, re-reading that it's not very clear (too much wine).

Current LRB here:
http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbo ... bbok_a.htm
Rules Review here:
http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbowl/Rules_rev.htm

That's the current state of the rules in two documents.

Shortly there'll be an updated LRB v.3.0 available for download that incorporates the latest rules review (and a change to Wild Animal), and that'll be the one to take a hard copy of to be completely current in one rulebook.

I am just as frustrated as DesTroy.

WHERE IS THE LRB 3.0?

I've heard all of the excuses....But I need it...I must have it!
