Norse, how to beat them?

The Norse are a strong starting team, but as others say use your dodge to gang up. Your clear advantages are your AG 4 and AV 8. So use them. Score quickly or gang up on his players when you have the ball. When he does pressurise his thrower to hope for an intercept. Never played PBeM though.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but you can't possibly win against the Norse!

I would concentrate on trying to take one of them down per turn while minimizing your exposure to them. This is one team where the Dark Elves have the AV advantage. Pick a player, any player. Move a any dark elf next to him for an assist. Blitz him to knock him down with a 2 die block. If the block doesn't take him out then move another player in to kick him. If he doesn't go down, then make sure that he can't get anyone over to assist in a block on the following round by moving other players in between him and the rest of his team.

Try to isolate and eliminate only one player per round while trying to defend/score with the rest of your squad.

Hopefully your opponent will not realize what you are doing until they have half their team in the knocked out and injured box.

Then Score at your leisure.

I thought I did ok in the first half, but the second isn't going my way

probably due to me trying to play 4 games at once this weekend

looks like it is going to be 3-1 in the end

definitely better than my last game so far, but I didn't realise I was playing the top ranked NAF Norse player!

and all my losses to Norse are from top 6 Norse players, so I can't feel too bad about it

3-2 final, apart from one major mistake by me it could have been 2-2, but I think I deserved the loss, let him get too many blocks on me and only my AV8 saved me.

well done, I think I know what to do V Norse now, just hope I don't meet the calibere of coaches I've faced so far
