Chairface wrote:$8.78 - Decent size box - 4" by 6". Didn't want to go too small. Lots of paper towel and Kleenex. Maybe I overdid it. Critique my packing technique and let me know when you see it. :D
You would've saved some money if you spent a bit on some cheap bubble wrap, wouldn't make it weigh so much and thus less postage. I never paid that much sending a mini overseas by airmail.

Got it. I thought it sounded expensive. I'll know better next time.

Maybe you might luck out and win the team (but I guess everyone else is thinking the same thing of themselves). Anyway, contributing to a (hopefully) great looking team is supposed to be the reward for participating. Can hardly wait to see the pumpkin-headed zombie.

Not to sound corny, but I'm just happy to participate. :) I love painting, and I'd like to get into more of these legacy teams. It gives me a chance to do something different, to reach outside of my usual races and colour schemes.

Chairface's pumpkinheaded zombie arrived today. looks great! I'll try to get a pic up sometime tonight, but more probably tomorrow).

Everybody get those minis painted and sent in! This is going to be a great looking team when it's all done!

Chairface, just wondering where you got the shoulderpads you used on the mini?

OK here it is. CH, just wondering about the left (his left) kneepad, looks like there was supposed to be a small NBA logo transfer on it, is that right? If so, it got partially rubbed off in the mail.
I really don't want to alter anyone's mini, but if you want, I could try to put a small one back on there, or I could just leave it as it is.

When I look at the picture he looks really shiny.... :D Sorry about the logo. Please, if you think that you can clean up the logo, be my guest. I'll definitely use bubble wrap next time. Thanks Torg!

I finally started painting mine today (you wouldn't believe how hard it was to find neckless chain!). It's coming out pretty good so far, if I say so myself, and I should have it finishd by tomorrow. Nice thing about the Nazgul figures is they paint up pretty quickly. :)

Awesome figure!

I did my greenstuffing a while ago, but I just primed him this morning. I'll get him painted, post a picture, and mail him off.

Try to get it done ASAP, you officially have until end of May, but if you're going to the BB in May, you should have it done by then and you can give it to me directly instead of mailing it.

I had another idea, if all those in Europe not going to the BB could try to get theirs done before then and send them to either Darkson or Thads who could give them to me directly. Would cut down in shipping cost and time (wouldn't have to send accross the Atlantic). DK as you're in Holland you could contact Dave and see if you could send it to him as I will be sharing a room with him at the BB (so it would have to be finished sometime this month, but you have the mini already partly painted so shouldn't be a problem). Is that OK with everyone?? Of course those in NA will send to me.

This only applies if you have them done before the end of THIS month, if you don't finish until the actual deadline at the end of May, you will have to send to me no matter where you live.

With any luck this is a better viewing size. I will give him to you Torg in May, or if you don't make it this far South post it to one of the others.
