My problem with the pose is his throwing hand mostly. Anyone who has thrown a ball can't tell me there hand was pointed behind them when cocking the ball back. Looking at where the thumb is that is going to be one ugly pass. . But maybe I'm out of my element. Just an old QuarterBacks opinon.

I like the pose, don't see anything wrong with the arm especially if you compare it to the colts QB that Skummy posted, the arm is in the same position.

If you look at the pic of Manning his hand is about 90 degres diffrent then the thrower, which makes a lot of diffrence. Try and pose like that thrower and then go throught the throwing motion. It hurts your shoulder and you have a sloppy realise point.
I like the model a lot don't get me wrong looks like the team will be great but I will be bending that arm a little so it looks a bit more like the Manning picture that was refrenced.

Hmmmm, I know what you mean, but I see the mini differently.. think the arm isn't quite getting shown right due to perspective.. Ah well, maybe when we see it again we can get another look...

i think the sculptors often have to make their minis in unnatural-looking & ugly poses, because that's the only way they can get them cast. the casting mould has to be opened to get the mini out, so it's bound to look rather simplified & "flat" (sort of "egyptian-glyph-like"). the only way to make minis interesting, appealing & dynamic, is to cast them as multiple part kits...
knowing that, this thrower-mini still has too many annoying spikes, in my opinion, and that makes it ugly.
(but fortunately, you could easily cut or file them off, i think (without them, he'd be pretty handsome
)... and perhaps the spikes also serve some functional purpose in the casting process- maybe they pour the molten metal through the spikes & into the figure's body...)

I just wonder if the rumours are true and maybe at years-end we'll see a whole bunch of new (redone) teams emerging the Blood-Bowl-Fields.
If the look of the teams is just like that thrower, I'll look forward to it.
