Hey Spyke, I just retired one of my MBBL2 teams. If you got room for one more, I'd be interested ... if not that's fine.
As for the cards, well in the PBeM tool the card files are completely editable ... for that matter so is the handicap table.
Change them and use a custom table for the little league. The MBBL and MBBL2 use different tables, its really easy to do.
Even if I cannot be in the league, just let me know and I'll help you set up the ini files for the league rules, random event cards, or handicap table that you want. Since the team will likely be very equal ... I'm thinking you'll want to use a modified Random Event table instead of the handicap table. Instead of the 3E rules, you might want to go with 1 card for everyone .... a roll of 6 gets you one additional random event.
Just my thoughts.

Hey reading the Pub rules ... I need a clarification.
Is it 2 players of choice ... ie can I have 2 Blitzers or 2 Catchers?
Or do I get 2 players with a max of 1 from either Blitzer, Catcher, Thrower?
I'm trying to decide between one of the following 4 combos:
1 Blitzer/1 Thrower
1 Catcher/1 Thrower
2 Blitzer
2 Catchers
Also it says no wizards ... does that mean no apothecary. I could understand if it did ... but I'm not sure.

I read the article as you any have ANY 2 non-linemen, so any of the combos above is OK by me.GalakStarscraper wrote:Hey reading the Pub rules ... I need a clarification.

Regards the apothecary - as there are no deaths and at least 9/11ths of the team have NI's already I think it is within the spirit of the little league to say no apothecaries. After all, why should an apothecary prevent "I forgot my kit".
And thanks to Galak for pointing out the BBCARDS.INI file can be edited to include the random events ONLY, so we won't be using the handicap table. I'll take that up with him via PM or email this week.

DW .... yah I'd leave the Aging table in.
I've had a lot of friend play in Pub Leagues and get the living cr*p beat out them by accident.
Rookies playing this game in little to no padding tends to led to injures ... the aging will represent the wear and tear that an older pub player would suffer.
How else do you get the "in my day" ...type stores.

If the honoured gentlemen will think about it - the table Spyke's Dykes played at for the whole tournament had the best lighting of any table there, so don't go blaming the "poor lighting"Deathwing wrote:I blame the poor light, surely Ronald's judgement can't be that bad!
