New to PBeM and need games to play

Be it FUMBBL, PBeM, the Cyanide Computer Game, VASSAL or whatever - talk about online play here.

This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

New to PBeM and need games to play

Post by Gr!mdel »

Hi there! :D

Haven't been playing Blood Bowl for ages and have recently decided to get back into it. Discovered a few leagues online and I'm really interested in joining a few and playing a few email games. I've got a few teams I'm interested in giving a go. The ones I've got my eye on include those from the MBBL and MBBL2:
Skaven (Used to play these and am going to play in table top games so want to get my skills up again)
Necromantic
Niponesse (Don't know about spelling?)
Spirit
and Elementalist

Any how I'm really keen to play a few email games with some people. I've played around with the PBeM tool and think I've got a pretty good handle on it. (The only thing I couldn't get up was playing cards though, had it playing under MBBL2 rules, don't know if that should change things but could draw or find out how to). Anyway please email or PM me to organise something.

Looking forward to getting back into playing Blood bowl, has been over 3 years, played mostly 3rd edition but also quite a few 4th edition rules. It was always my fav minitures game and was always hassling everyone I new to play a game. History repeats!

It sounds like you know this already but in case you don't... the MBBL2 is a house rule heavy league, not even close to the new LRB ruleset. The MBBL is a LRB based league using only rules that are listed as experimental from Fanatic.

If you are looking for a strict LRB Blood Bowl league, check out www.pbembbl.org or www.rebbl.com each of these leagues use the LRB with no house rules.

Yeah I know, thats why I'm very keen to give the MBBL2 a go. I like a lot of ideas that they have used. Looks to be very interesting and a lot of fun!

And also the MBBL just to get a bit more practice and experience with most or the standard rules .
