Double 5 for werewolf

Post by berserker »

I have a necro team 3 games old starting very well.

The ww are huge and a werewolf rolled a double 5 for his second skill (block)

I am almost certain to pick the MA upgrade but maybe you had a better idea...

Jump is nice, Mighty Blow helps, guard is a bit of a waste on a ww imho

I think I'd take Dauntless or Jump Up.

Dauntless is better if the league is quite strong, jump up better against low strength leagues.

Maybe pilling on- for those times the dice just don't roll high enough.

The other teams are
Orcs
Nurgle
Dark elves
High Elves
Amazons

Orcs have 4 Bo, rotter only 1 so far but I played them once already.

So I have 2 matches gainst orcs and 1 vs Nurgle, not that much muscle...

So barring strength upgrades Daunless would only be useful against two teams, one of which you've played once already?
Not really worth it then...
Claw+Piling on is nice, with tackle as well the elves and amazons will just love him. More doubles for jump up and frenzy.

With those teams I think I'd take Jump Up. 4 BOBs? No big guys to speak of so Dauntless isn't that important.

Piling On could work well too (I'd prefer JU first) but Mighty Blow is nearly as effective at getting players off the pitch and you have the advantage of staying upright.

Jump Up is a good choice but will make him one of the first to get fouled; not something you want with a over-100k-player with no apo. Therefore I'd take MB; about as good as JU and less targetting-risk

Though of course he'll always be a target

I second Jump-Up, it might be worth a few more blocks. Always nice.
