Wow congrats babs sounds like a heck of a weekend.

i think a pic with 4 or 5 models is better then a whole team a lot of times.

time toput the paint where your mouth is and

This is quite irritating. I just read the whole post about how there are no picks hoping that the next post would contain a clue as the where to find them :-? .

I might post some better lit ones tomorrow. The colour of the hair, skin tones and so on are not that clear. I think it's because of the light background.

I'd like to take a larger one of my favourite blitzer by herself and show you some of the hair colours. It's difficult photographing miniatures in morning light.

Babs,

If the sun is shining you might also try walking them outside. Most digitals lose a lot of color depth with the flash, and they generally aren't optimal for such close subjects.

Bookman & Dave replies

Post by Babs »

Bookman,

I might just do that. When I took them this morning the sun wasn't shining on my place yet (I live on the inside of a cliff face from the beach) so I didn't have much choice. Only the team shot was taken with a flash, and I'm pretty unhappy with it.

I'm still getting to grips with my digicamera's macrolens, and a fair few photos didn't make the cut because they were too blurry. The catchers from the front (which I use as Witch Elves) are a bit blurry.

Dave,

These beauties can't be entered into the Blood Bowl. They aren't GW miniatures, and they very explicitly stipulate that you cannot bring miniatures that are not Games Workshop.

Interesting colorschema... i like it. Dark skin and bright uniforms. Quite a unique team. Damm, I have to finish my shadowforge team, too.

yes, you are right... very bad place to live. I would prefer the street canyons of a big city without influence of the nature , too .

Which area do you live ? Sydney area ? Up the coast ?

I like the colour scheme, and think that skin tone works really well on the coach. Not bad, might rip it off when I do my team :)
