Yes and yes use them.
Both.
Absolutely, imo. Start with 1 and add another later. Develop one as a thrower and the other as a general ball handler. The one gets accurate and such, while the other gets block, dodge and other non thrower skills, dauntless and strip ball.

I prefer starting with all 4 blitzers on an orc team. Block comes in more useful in early games than strength does in my opinion. I still field black orcs, but I usually only take 2 to start.

Do Orks need Gobbos? I mean are they really played or do u stick to da big guys`? gobbo's are fun and with stunty and dodge important. they can score or get you an essential assist. I don't start with them but integrate them later because they are cheap.

Blitzer or Blacky? If ya have to chose, which one do you prefer? Whocih one goes first? Or just start both with 4? Depends. If you don't mind losing a couple of games, go for the BO's, the need all the experience they can get. The blitzers will otherwise do all the work for you because they allready have block. If you can afford it get a mix of both.

Throwers? Do u really need them? If yes how many would u suggest? hmm...there aren´t too many greenies out there that can catch that ball..hmm... Every player is AG 3 except the BO. That's the same as any average team. The catching is indeed the hard part, but I find sure hands on a thrower a good skill to start with. you can also run the bal in with him

Depends on your style of play, but for a balanced team, that gives you all the options, I would max out all positions.

I like the gobbos as receivers and potentially desperate plays (throw team mate)

Thrower, definetely. Take both in the long run. I use them extensively.

Blitzers. The best players you have at the start. SOme people will suggest, to take the BOBs first, as they can then gather SPs early before the Blitzers take them all away. I would tend to start with more Blitzers dispite this. It will let you win more games early on.

It seems that the Orks are having a slow start without the Blitzers, so use them. the rest of the team will grow around them.
and pass as much as you can (quick and short). Your throwers will develop quicker that way 8)

Bah.. Throwing the ball for the pale skins!

The proper Orc Start is:

6 Blitzers/Black Orcs any combination
1 Thrower
4 Lineorcs
3 rr
7 ff

After you start earning some money, max out yer BOBs / Blitzers, then buy a troll and a few gobbos.

Gobbos are fun, but I wouldnt bother with them until you get TTM capabilities.

& suprise, suprise, my Orc opponent started with excactly the same.
(well I had 2Blitzer, 4 BoBs -- he had 3 of each).

P.S. never scored 4 TDs in one game with Orcs before......

No I don't think you need Gobbos.
I would choose a blitzer first if I had to pick, but see no reason why you can't accommodate both.
Yes I would take one thrower to give you added options.
If you were to take gobbos I would definately get a BG as well. I just see gobbos as taking away your hitting power. I have run a very successful Orc team without them.

I probably wouldn't put them on a starting line up either. On the other hand, they may dodge to assist a block in a tricky situation. And they are cheap. But I would probably add them later in the season also. But I would recommend having one or two of them in the team in the long run.

In the long run once you have built a team up of mindless, psychotic killers you won't need Gobbos, unless they are the half time carbohydrates.

Played about 8 or 9 games with my Orcs, and had 4 Blackies and 4 Blitzers from the start. Makes it a hard hitting ( and therfore fun ) team to start with. Thrower is great, if erratic, dont have any gobbos at all as yet. Big guy on the way when enough in treasury....

Well Nadgers is being very polite about these games as they were against my Middenheim Mincers.....you know the, one's with the pink boots that i've told you about in the Team Diaries posting. his line up caused untold damage and DEATH in my team. Kept spending my winnings on replacing my dead and maimed. Please don't help him. Give generously to the sulking squishies,...ya like i'm in the right place for that..oh and somebody please ask him what happened to his Blackie ''Baby's Arm'' .
You know you want too.
