The unpainted ones without shoulder pads are the gutter runners, the big guy with the parrot is the storm vermin the rest are line-rats.

it is easy to tell them apart, Mike has done a great job keeping them individual but still keeping thier postions

Looks like Emberbreeze usefully answered the question for me :)

The only players I really went to town on are the linerats, thus making them very individual so that in tournament play my opponent can easily tell which players have which skills. Most of the images Emberbreeze put up are of the linerats. I deliberately left the gutter runners very plain and with no shoulder pads so that they stand out from the rest of the team. They are also significantly lower to the ground than the other players. The Storm Vermin is distinctive as he's much taller than the others - he's also the only player with a parrot :D

I like the concept of painted base rings, but when I've spent so long getting the look and colour of the team just how I want it (lots of natural colours etc) I'm not too keen on the idea...

Very nice sculpting! Too bad you had to use the new plastic skaven as bases for your models, you are obviously talented enough to sculpt them yourself entirely so i'm guessing time-shortage? Hope you have the time to create a team completely from scratch sometime, would be wonderful to see without those incredibly lousy new-style skaven parts (especially the heads which are awful beyond description).

Hmm, starting to get confusing, here's what i mean:
Your sculpting: very, very good
GW's new-style skaven: excrement

Keep up the good work! :D

Thanks Hobz,

I would seriously like to try sculpting a team from scratch, but that would be a _Major_ project! After spending six solid weeks working on these guys I'm still struggling to get them finished in time... I also want to use them at The BloodBowl, which means they need to be based on GW models - I have no idea what they would say if you turned up with a scratch-built team!

Given a bit more experience, maybe Andy from Heresy will let me sculpt him some Bloodbowl players...

Mike is bound to not blow his own trumpet, so I'll tell you Andy at Heresy already has cast and sold one of his minis.

Got any plans for a Fantasy Football team Mike?

You saw the pygmy player...

Maybe once I've done a few more bugs - I would love to try my hand at a decent werewolf...
