I think you are on the right track. Every camera has a minimum focus point. If the camera has a macro mode, it's usually somewhere between 4-10 cm (from the lens to to the object). Without macro mode it's usually around 20 cm.Babs wrote:There's still a little bit of blur in the photos too. Annoying! Moving closer will move the objects out of focus. Depending on the Resolution of the camera, it might be a better option to move back and then crop instead of resizing as you said.
Additionally, you can add some sharpness to the picture by postprocessing it with the right software (e.g. Irfanview or Paintshop Pro). I tried this with your pics, and it helps a little, but not to the point of complete satisfaction
