Trophy Miniatures

Post by SteveB »

Hi all

Been delving into my bits box recently planning stuff for Golden Demon and I found the below minis therein. I won them in Blood Bowl tourneys many years back.

I vaguely remember reading that some of the trophies are quite rare. Anyone know if either of these are? I figured if anyone knew the answers it would be you guys.

Cheers

The one on th left is the Bloodbowl trophy that as first made a coulpe of years back but has now been released with three other trophies. The four of them are available from Mail Order and cost £10. So not valuable.

However, the other one is extremely valuable.

It is one of around 200 limited edition "Mithril Spikes". I'd say it was worth £30 plus. Some would pay £50 for it.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

...it's worth negativ-pounds. If the police find that one at your home you'll be in jail for years. Just send it over to me and you'll have one less problem to worry about.

(I'm such a nice guy... )

The Mithril Spike is very ccol indeed. 8)

Isn't the one on the left and earlier version though? Probably worth a bit more.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

well, i´m digging sometimes in my drawers and find some nice stuff... but never this nice old spike ! :o I paid quite a lot for this thing to finish my collection !

BTW... nice pict of the trophies. Much better than mine at my website  I have to check my BB trophies tonight, if there are some differents between old and new one.

Steve, any BB plans for the GD ? I would love to see some BB diorama like the LOTR one you did last time

I am positive that there is only one BB trophy. That the one re-released last year was identical to the one made few years back. I know this because I have both. Small mystery solved.

Look Steve, if you really want to avoid problems, send the trophy to me. I'm in Colombia, and the police just don't want to come here...

Variant Vampire Lord (Different boots and no helmet). Not sure how many exist but it's never been cast in metal and GW do not have the rights to release it. Probably less than 10 in existence. In fact I could have the only one.
