2nd ed Chaos minis

Post by Baron Ollie »

I have 3 Chaos Warriors from 2nd Ed. I love them - they are so cool. I am pretty sure they are star players but I would like to know which are which. I don't have pictures so I will describe them.

One is poised in a frontal flex pose. He wears complete body armour including helmet, sompletely obscuring his face.

One is a fat guy with his belly sticking out of his armour.

One has a massive crab claw and appears tall and skinny.

Please advise me as to who they are...

Ah I am stupid. I just found them.

They are Bilerot Vomitflesh, Dorjak Sureclaw, Wormhowl Greyscar, and Duke Luthor Von Hawkfire (I forgot I had him...)

I have them painted grey and dark blue and purple... they are amongst my favorite BB minis...

Second Edition Chaos Warriors

Post by misterwister2000 »

Actually, the models you are referring to are Gorlmen Goreblade, Bilerot Vomitflesh, and Dorjak Sureclaw. If you look in The Citadel Journal Issue #25, Jervis Johnson has an article entitled "Out of Retirement." It has numerous 2nd ed. Star Players with their pictures and stats. I own all of these models and play with them on a daily basis. Ah, what is that? I hear cries of "Broken! Broken!" But I do not care. I shout back, "Fun! Fun! Fun!"

The top one pictured is Duke Luthor Von Hawkfire, the other Bilrot Vomitflesh.

From description the third must be Dorjak (sp?) Sureclaw probably my favorite of the 2ed chaos figs.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".
