Vampires
Hi there!
What is it with those vampires?
I ordered a team and then read that they are very weak, supposedly a "fun team" like Gobbos or Halflings. Why is that?
What are the most recent rules for them? I have come across about half a dozen versions, so I don't know what to make of it.
What is "cofab"?
Thanks for your help,
EmperorNorton

cofab translates to [Edit:Cervidal] Off For A Bite after the person that created it. (Sorry.)
The rules listed on the http://www.blood-bowl.net/GWTeams/GWRosters.html website has the official rules for the experimental vampire team.
The rules are pretty harsh currently as not only do they lose their action if they fail the OFAB roll, but they also either cause a turnover if they can't attack one of their own or they do attack one of their own and end up injuring the thrall automatically.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I just read the current rules for OFAB again and I don't think they are as harsh as I had originally thought. I have also seen another post that recommends having the Hypnotic Gaze work a little differently. It would now be part of a move action instead of part of a blitz or block.
This change really can make the team more effective IMO.
I'm all for the change to HG if OFAB stays in it's current incarnation.
