Two More from my Orc Team...

Post by ThePolo »

Well, work's calmed down a bit, so I had some time to paint! Here's my two Black Orcs.

I pretty much lifter Squiggoth's paint scheme for them... You know, imitation's the best form of flattery and all. :D

Anywho, here they are!

Hope you guys enjoy them!

Most cool.

Only one thing that stands out to me, and that's the the skull on the ground of your first figure is awfully clean. Not a big deal, just kinda stood out to me.

Hehe... Yeah... I highlighted that sucker up a bit... didn't I?

Look at it not as 'clean', but as 'sun-bleached' :D

Very nice.

What did you use for the grass on the bases?

Based the mini pre-priming with sand and fine ballast, then post-painting I hit it with a nice even cover of static grass.

The static grass is then painted with GW "Goblin Green".
Highlighted with Reaper "Gnoll Green"..
Then drybrushed with GW "Bleached Bone"

After that, I painted the pitch line in Valejo White.
