IMO FF is much more useful when you play a faster team, which is able to score more TDs in a game like skaven or elves.
more TDs -> more kick off results ->more use for the increased FF.
another point is the cost for your RRs, which vary from team to team.
Tournaments: FF or RR?

I was about to mention that exact game. Its a bit easier for me playing dwarfs to get the best of both, but like Ian said - it very nearly won me the game. Ian would possibly even be justified in claiming it cost him a chance at a win. (In the end I think it all worked out fair though...even if I came away relieved).ianwilliams wrote:rerolls. I finished 6th and had 3... and a FF of 1 which only hurt me in one game (against Thadrin).
I think what you have to consider is a balance. I think 3rr is enough for pretty much any team at a tournament - many teams need fewer (Luthor'd Undead, certain Elf teams). I felt a lot more comfortable with that extra FF instead of a fourth reroll. You have to look at that last reroll and think about how it effects you FF. Be aware that an low FF can cost in the long run.
