Khemri models are a pain in the rear!
Wow!
Those Khemri models are really annoying to assemble. A friend of mine bought the team and a booster pack. We put the skeletons together and they took for freakin ever. Not only that, after we assembled them, we played a match. I touched the head of one of the skeletons and he broke in half. It was a great for a good laugh, but damn they suck as far as breaking apart. We pinned the torsos together but those lil weak arms! Anyone have suggestions that will make them stay together better? We used GW super glue.... it sucks! Takes too long to cure.

Try adding some scaled shoulderpads, (as an excuse to use some greenstuff to put those bones together!)

I used extremely small pins to keep the arms sturdy. It's a total PITA but it's about the only way to keep these not very well designed khemri together. I also put the shoulder piece on all the models except for the blitz-ra and thro-ra. Other then that it's just patience... I found that the GW glue wasn't to bad but if you want a good bond try a product called "Zap-It" It's made for thing other then mini's but any hobby shop should have it. Just be careful because the bond time is -5 seconds and it's a strong bond.

I had to resort to using the "old style" mummies to boost my Khemri team as i couldn't manage to order the actual Khemri mummies seperately from G.W online store (u.k)
They look ok but are slightly smaller than their Khemri counterparts.
I know this has already been answered on an other post but why!!! why!!! did Fanatic make the decision to release such a fiddly build team??
Bloodbowl probably has more "hands on" time per figure than most other games yet they release this!I have been modelling for years and found them fiddly to secure - pin-vice etc so I can only shudder at what the less experienced thought.

You missed all the discussion when the Khemri first were released. You could do a search for it, but I will give a brief overview. The origianl idea was for Phil Bowen to sculpt some sprues to use for converting the plastic skeletions, but the prohibative cost of casting plastic (resin, whatever) it was decided by the powers that be in GW that the parts would be cast in metal and be released as a complete team. And yes, they are a pain in the ass! I still haven't gotten around to finishing painting mine (and I bought them as soon as they were released, without knowing about all the fiddly parts of course).

Try a LITTLE bit of white glue mixed with the GW super Glue ( white glue on one side super glue on the other). It reduces the curing time to seconds and forms a much harder bond. Sounds funky but it works and thank god I have never even touched a pin and the hundreds of models that I have, have NEVER broken.S.

Sallicious,
I took my smallest drill bit and put holes in the "shoulder" of the arms, and then took my needlenose pliers and squeezed teh arm nubs on the torso into pins. Same idea with the legs. Only time they fell apart was when Melifaxis' lil snotling picked up my mummy and 'bowled' over my team.
They're still together though.
