Uber Black Orc, new skill

Post by Blargle »

He already has Block and Guard,
and now gets a new skill, i didn't roll doubles, so it's limited to Gen & Str,
i was thinking Break tackle, the 2+ dodge would make him able to dodge out and move to a place to assist with his guard, or dodge out to blitz someone more important,
but mighty blow still calls to me...
suggestions on these or others?

Definatelly Mighty Blow.
So he will soon reach his fourth skill and there you should hope for the doubles and give him standfirm.

Depending on the league in which you are the interesting skills are: tackle, break tackle and mighty blow.
All 3 are good choices.
Choose tackle if there is much dodge in your league and you have trouble bringing players down.
Choose Mighty blow for more Cas and SPP (MB gives you about twice as many Cas than without).
Choose break tackle for the tactical advantage of a free BoB that can´t be marked by a skelli for example. The MA of 4 is not a problem, i give BT to my mummies :-)

I´m a big fan of break tackle, but the other two skills are ok, too.

I am a fan of giving LOS players Mighty Blow to help them get thier fair share of SPPs.

Id go for Mighty Blow too unless you have trouble with dodgers.

break tackle if there are lots of slow teams that can mark the bo with slow but armored linos, zombies and the like. This can help your cage rolling on as well.

tackle is needed if there are a lots of dodger, cause it will improve the chance of bringing them down on a 2db from 11/36 to 5/9 (5/9 to 3/4 for dodgers w/o block).

MB would be the most flexible, b/c it improves the cas-ratio against all teams.
