bloomin wild animal

Post by nobbynobbs »

first of all, sorry for asking this question.

i've searched here, & in the GW forum, and I thought I had it, then it went again...

I got me a nice Rat Ogre for my new Skaven team, & I don't know how to interpret the W.A. rule.

Is this it?

Post on GW forum:
----------------------
To Move, Pass, Foul or Handoff, roll D6. On 4 or more, go ahead.

To Block or Blitz, roll D6. On 2 or more, go ahead.

LRB interpretation:
---------------------
To Move, Pass, Foul or Handoff, roll D6. On 4 or more, go ahead.

To Block or Blitz, add 2+. (On 6, go ahead. Normal 4 needed, plus 2+).

Call me a donut, I can take it.
Just tell me which is right.

Now I think about it, the 1st one sounds right. It should be easier to hurt people, right?

Thanx all,
Craig.

that's it!
and, correct me if i'm wrong, i think you can announce a blitz with the rat ogre in order to do something entirely different like just running and picking up balls, can't you?

At the cost of your teams blitz action yes. But IMO that would be beardy. I'm sure others disagree though so have at it.

thanx for the replies!!

So that's right? 2 to Blitz/Block, 4 for everything else?

Craig.

It's +2 to your roll, not to the target so you're right. 2+ to block and blitz, 4+ everything else.

And that you can only do one action, so if you 'Blitz' to go get the ball, you can't move it either.

I don't follow that logic. You mean you can't do the following?

1) Declare Blitz
2) Move over ball
3) Pick up ball
4) Move and hit the guy blocking you from the endzone
5) Knock him over, follow up
6) Keep moving until out of move
7) With any luck, touchdown

Or do you mean that you can't pass/hand-off the ball during a blitz?

I'm not sure what Scotty was saying.

You can declare a Blitz action to move a Wild Animal on a 2+ and go pick up the ball and move him if you want ... you don't have to block ... and I don't consider that beardy if you are willing to flush your Blitz action to move a WA.

Galak
