[Talkbloodbowl Cup] Semi-Final Round

At last the semi-final round...so close to done!

The Pairings:

Dangerous Dave vs Tim
Draco          vs McDeth

The Deadline:

July 29th will be the deadline this time around. Should probably finish before that but you can play up until noon on that day.

Things to do:

Please get together with your opponent via PM, or email if available, and start your games. Remember that you get 3 skill choices on your players for this round...otherwise your rosters are the standard 100k.

If/when you're finished send the game files to me at evil_stickyAThotmail.com (replace AT with @) and I'll pass them on to be checked for reloads/rewinds.

Any problems you have can be posted to this thread, PM'd to me, or emailed to me at the above address.

Clarifiaction please ??

I thought it was one skill choice per round as per tourney. IE Three in Total for your team at this stage.

And I understood it that they were cumulative. So I added two skills in my last match. If this was wrong then I cheated, because I played with 2 Block BC's and 1 Guard on a CD (He was out almost first turn, but he should not have had the skill!)
Now I wanted to add three skills for next game making it a total of six! Until I got the message from McDeth. they way I read it really makes me think we both now should have 6 skills each!

last game with munkey we had 2 skills each, course it would be great to have all 4 of my blitzers with Guard

Presumably then whoever wins would get another 4 skills for the final

. Damn i could have had my whole team with blodge

Erm...didn't realize this was unclear but you get a TOTAL of three skill choices this round. So that means 3 players on your team get a normal skill advance....like kick or whatever.

Please adjust for this in your games as needed.

The bolded bit above is the problem. It should be:

you get 1 skill choice for each round played - ie a total of 3 for each team in the semi final

.... or have I got it wrong?

3 July through 10 July inclusive

so won't be able to take any turns during this time.

I PM'd him when the roudn started so all we can hope for is that he gets back after the 10th for a flurry of turns.

I'm also off from this afternoon until 11th of July, so i thought it would not make sense to start the game before my vacation.
