NBA legacy team 2004 - finished

So the "official" extention to the deadline has passed and there are still some minis outstanding. LQ, DW, Darkson, Neo, Xtreme, and Odin are still in the process of completing theirs and sending it in. I didn't include DL in the list as it looks very much like he's given up all things BB including the legacy team, so not expecting a mini from him (that's why Odin was asked to do a wight).
I will wait for everyone to get theirs done and sent in before I do the draw so please get done ASAP, thanks.

I hope it will be soon finisched !

because in a month I'll be on vacation for a month so I can't get the team then .. If I even win it..

but the draw can be before it I hope

I hope everyone will be done and the minis sent in before the end of the month (I hope by the middle of the month at the latest), so don't worry draw should be done before you go on vacation.

The conversion has been completed and the paint will be applied this weekend! It will be in ASAP.

just to give an update on my mini's progress.

I started out with this model:

Shaved off the base chunk, headband emblem, and flame sword. Then added hands and sculpted a face.

Then added a spiked hand weapon and shoulder pads, tied with a chest strap. Primed in black.

It will be getting color today!

Looks cool, but you know it would have looked just as cool without the face (still looks good, don't get me wrong, not criticising). Would have been neat if you had made him look like the NBA logo, but that would've required extensive converting (cutting off the arm and repositioning it upright and holding a spiked football). Anyway, that's just my thought on it, but looks great as is, can't wait to see it painted.

I'm still way behind..just done the converting and primed it....sorry guys.
I'm not really interested in being part of the draw though, these things are more about contributing than any hope of winning to me anyway...
Somebody's gonna get a pretty cool DW fig (if I say so myself, certainly unique at the least!) even it's it's way late.
Sorry for buggering everybody about..life just got hectic.. I haven't been doing any painting at all since prior to the BB.

(In fact I've had to resort to borrowing a coupla figs to make up my tourney roster for Tulips.)

Guess I can't do anything about that, but PLEASE everyone else who hasn't got there mini in yet, get it done and sent in. DW is legitimatly very busy with all the NAF stuff so he does have an excuse, but the rest of you don't. Don't jam out and try to use DW's excuse for your own, just get them done and sent in, especially Xtreme and Darkson, you two are doing position players (were and FG) so those really need to be done for the team to look complete.

Just need Xtreme to get his were in (he said will be sending soon), Odin will be sending in his wight soon as well, just waiting to hear from Darkson to see how close his FG is to being finished. Haven't seen any spam from DS for awhile, has he gone on vacation or something?

Here's a list so far of who's in and what they will do, will update as needed. A couple of people said they wanted to do two.
BTW, We are trying to keep this focused on people in the NBA, honourary members, and people who have had some relationship with the NBA (usually advisarial, but friendly). The others who said they would like to participate, may still be allowed to join, depends on how big we want the team (coaching staff, RR markers, etc).

BTW, this team may be sponsored by the NAF, so there are certain rules that must be followed. This team cannot be resold, if the winner cannot keep the team for whatever reason, he must contact myself and a new recipeant chosen out of the contributers. If you don't like that, don't contribute, this is supposed to be a unique team that is supposed to be a LEGACY of the people who participated, not a money making venture.

Just wanting to show who still has to get their's in. We are way behind deadline so please get them done and sent in so we can get the draw done very soon.
