The Ogre...what now?

Post by Scipio_Publius »

I like the fact that the ogre became more limited as to who's team he could play on but now I realise that none of the teams he plays for has the possibilty of using throw teammate unless its chaos hiring goblin star players.

I also, noticed that their are no star players with right stuff hirable by Norse or Humans.

My question is...where the heck is Puggy Baconbreath when you need him? I forgot if he plays for humans even and I have not seen an LRB version of him. Any chance of this happening. Am I missing a possible player to throw on a human or norse team?

You're not missing anything if we got stats for Puggy he would be Halfling only star. If you want stats for house ruling purposes go to blood-bowl.net.
Of course there is Arfie as well, another Halfling star, we will never see offical.

Bottom line though officaly neither the humans or the Norse will have a TTM option that I can see any time in the near future, and IMO it is better that way.

The classification of 'right stuff' as an agility skill somewhere in the BB box (I think it was the big red card of Death Zone) has always been a typo.

Damn, I wish I would have known that like 6 or 7 years ago. Ever seen how brutal it is when a Wood Elf Catcher gets thrown by a Treeman?

I do miss that element though. I just played an Orc team last season just to refresh my mind on TTM rules. Didn't make a single 1TTD but it was great fun.

Maybe humans should get 0-4 halflings or something? That would be fun!

One Orc team in our league used to have a 4 AG gobbo and a 3 AG troll. He made some big one turn touchdowns before that Ogre died...

Try the Old worldpact(though I don't know if it's official), you get dwarfs, halflings, humans and some more races+ Ogre and Treeman
Is fun!

Sounds like fun

Bloodbowl is one of the games though that has a long tradition of playing with "unofficial" rules. :D
