Skill for excessively talented Darkie.
[http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=playe ... _id=743561]This lad here[/url] has just breeched 75spps without aging, and I'm fairly stuck on what (normal) skill to get him.
For those to lazy to click on the link he is:
9 4 4 8 Block Dodge.
The two that immediately lend themselves to me are tackle - as he's usually going for a ball carrier - or shadowing to take advantage of his pace. Any other clever ideas.
Bear in mind that the rest of team is fairly blessed in terms of agility and speed.
Ta.

sidestep - he must eat three wheatibiscuit a day and rocks.
With st4 blodge he will give players fits. with sidestep people may actually not bother to hit him! lol. just put him next to a player with the ball and love his power.
if you feeling rude put him on LOS on defense and move up pitch if they fail to nail you. more rude than a ********** with a ***** in a *******

Shadowing, tough to blitz off fast enough to keep up with Gutter runners.
Also Strip Ball is a great one. Gets in there pretty fast and hits hard good to get that ball right after the kick off.

Sidestep is good, with the hope of getting him guard on his next skill, or Shadowing if that fails.
Strip Ball or Tackle if you're not interested in longer term development, though Leap is also pretty tempting as well.

- strip ball : the guy lacks leap to be a good strip baller, IMHO.
- side Step : good against strong team to block a cage
- tackle : always useful against AG team. with ST4 you can get rid of ST3 blodgers
- shadowing : very good with MV9, but catchers are often MV8 or 9, so it's some kind of 50% efficiency.
My vote for tackle : good for blitzing, good for putting TZ, no luck necessary for the skill to work.

Yay! Someone suggested leap - We love Griff!
Seriously I would be tempted by Leap or Sidestep
Stripball is a bit of a waste against most opponents...
Tackle has its good points if you mainly blitz with him...
I'd *so* go with leap myself
