10 on a Norse Thrower skill

Post by tomazsus »

Hi, I need some help. I rolled 10 (6+4) on a skill roll for a Norse thrower. He already got Sure Hands (so his skills now are block, pass and sure hands). What do you suggest me, take the +1 move or rather to get accurate or hailmary pass (and then get a catcher with diving catch)?
Thanks for your help.

Take the +1MA and the use him to run with the ball... or make the pass one square shorter.

BTW... the next skill, IMO, will be accurate in order to increase your teams pass game.

Always, always, always take +1 MV on any thrower. It gets you nearer the ball on kick offs; it reduceds the range of every pass; it saves GFIs, plus you get all the benefits of +1 MV that every other player gets.

Always, always, always take +1 MV on any Norse player. The team suffers most at high TRs from a lack of MV, meaning they can't run away from bashy teams with AV 9.

= Take the MV. :D

In this case, take the move. With double 5's, I rate Sure Hands a little bit higher.

Or accurate

But maybe the +1MA gives you more flexibility, cause the norse team's reduced movement is a little problem.

Thanks everyone. I picked +MV. I'm sure it was the best option, as you have suggested. :D
