yes, it's really probable that you have to wait for that....
Fortunately, I was really lucky with my skill rolls...having 2 Linelves with Guard and several stat increases ;-)

Dauntless is really the only good choice, because of the Khemri. You'll need a bit of guard as well.

I like Mighty Blow as my first choice, I generally use Him as my Ball Hunting blitzer.

But with the statement that there is a Khemri team, I would probably play it safe and take Dauntless. Otherwise you just aren't going to be able to take them down.

It goes without saying, of course, once you get that guy down you bring the rest of the team over and foul the hell out of him. (You are Dark Elves remember.) If this is a closed league, and you are going to have to play them again, making sure those mummies don't make it to Block or past it is of prime importance, not only for you but for everyone else in your league. Otherwise you are looking at a loss for your next opponent almost certainly.

Good luck!

Avoid the mummies and try to take down the skeletons regularly - they should break more often than your guys.

I have another blitzer with dodge and AG 5. And my witch elf (buyed for this match) scored 2 TD and caused 1 casualty... She got's Block.

Four games played, four games won. 11 TD - 0 TD against... I don't believe this... This darkies are incredible!!!

Darkies get destroyed in our league. I think a Dark elf team has retired in almost every season of our league. Just a cursed team.

I think I woulda taken jump up or guard with the doubles.....khemri mummies are easy just to dodge away from instead of hitting.

Well, here I am again.

Saturday my Dark Elves (called Buitres de Villaverde), won 4-0 to the khemry team, without any injurie o dead. My blitzer with Dauntless scored 1 TD, knocked down two mummies and injuried another. Great hability (and best armour roll dices  )

Another of my blitzers gets doubles. This blitzer have Block, Dodge and AG 5. This is my options:

 Nerves of Steel
 Jump Up
 Leader (this is the last option, because I have one rerroll, but I don't need more in the seven matches played, seven victories, 19 TD - 1 TD against)

My other players:

 Two blitzers with blodge
 One blitzer with Blodge and Dauntless
 One witch elf with block
 Four lineman with one hability: guard, dirty player, kick and block
 one thrower, one witch elf, three lineman.

Next saturday I play the last match of the season, against humans. Then I play the playoffs versus a skaven team or a norse team.

Thanks!

You might start needing one or two players with tackle (I don't recommend the witch elves) to help you hunt catchers.

I Agree 2 JJB, you will need some Tackle and Strip-Ball. But the Double would be wasted for that....hm....maybe Mighty Blow.
AG 5 are also great Pass-Blockers but once again the Double would be lost. It also depends how possible it is to get 2 or more skill after next match for the finals, because against Skaven you would need Tackle and/or Strip-Ball a lot.

Well, finally I chose Nerves of Steell. I won 4-0 the last match of the regular season. Look at this blitzer passing o receiving the ball in the middle of many opponent players... Incredible, great hability in combination with AG 5.

Well, I won the regular season (8 victories in 8 matches, 23 TD 1 TD against). Now I play the playoffs. Semifinals vs a norse team with a Minotaur.

Khaine Bless My Dices!!!

IMO Nerves of Steel is wasted on an AG 5 player. His unmodified catches are on a 2+ - exactly the same as every other AG 4 player on your team! :) You should have taken Jump Up, or even burnt the double on Leap.
