Thats not a bad idea, I started my Pro Elves with Catchers but having been pretty badly beat up I think I could have done with the ST and AV earlier on.
Game 6 and still no Blitzers on the team, plus one of my Catchers is hogging a lot of the SPPs - on 31 while the rest of the team are on or just getting to the one skill mark.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

I don't see the point in forfeiting the 4th RR for an extra ghoul. I'd rather go with:Undead 2
2 Mummy
2 Wight
2 Ghoul
6 Zombies
3 RE-ROLLS
9 FAN FACTOR
2 Mummies
2 Wights
1 Ghoul
6 Zombies (or 5 Zombies and a Skeleton)
4 RR
9 FF
With undead you'll be able to complete you roster sooner than other races anyhow since you won't need an apoth.

Skaven
my starting Skaven would be:
2 Stormvermin
2 Gutter Runers
1 Thrower
7 Linerats
9 FF
2 RR
20K in tresury
NEVER start with a ratogre, they're too unrealible.
Allways have FF 9
More than 2 GRs weakens your team too much- less than two isn't skaven.

i beg to differ. ALWAYS start your roster with a Rat-Ogre. you'll need the punch, and you'll (should ?) be able to manage 3-dice blocks most of the time. additionally, with his agility of 3, you can even try to make him score, giving him block after the first couple of matches, and then you have a real killer that can help your team survive and win games. The Rat-Ogre is arguably the best BG in the game along with the Kroxigor, not taking him is criminal

Pro Elves
I've played this Team for one Season in my Local League, and with the "Nerves-of-Steel-Catchers" it is quite good for long term playing.
2*Catchers
1*Blitzer
1*Thrower
7*Lineelf
3*RR
5*FF
The Fan Faktor is quite low, but this doesn't matter, as long as you make sure to get a Medic as soon as possible. This is no team for too much "Close Combat" so you won't have to replace to many players. Leap is still a good option as a later extra skill, especially for Catchers.

Started a Wood Elf team for the first time a few days ago and decided to try something a little different.
The only game I lost in Nottingham was to an undead team with no rerolls (and Count Luthor), so how about a WE team with no re-rolls...
Started with
2 Wardancers
2 Catchers
7 Lineelves
FF9
Won the game and got enough for an apothecary - admitedly lucky enough not to lose anyone (only 1 BH player) but was playing against humans.
Plan will be to get a Passer in the near future. Then maybe a re-roll depending on player losses (which will almost inevitably be Lineelf replacements regardless of which player bites the big one).

Once again Mo's Marauders clear the field. Can anyone stop them? This reporter doesn't think so!
