Human Team for Tournament...

Hi all,

theres a tourney soon and i still cant decide which lineup i ll use. I want to play Humans. We can spend 1.100.000. Starplayers cost are 1,5 times, wizards cost 100k. And we can give two skills or one trait before the first game starts and one skill after each match or one trait after two matches.

I dont think i have a chance of winnig with Humans. So i want to try something risky and have some fun.

There are two options for me. I want to hire Griff Oberwald for 270K or a wizard for 100K.

So can anyone give me some good and at least playable ideas of rosters for this options? And which skills to give to which players? Tanks.

1 x Griff (270)
6 x Lineman (300)
2 x Thrower (140)
2 x Catcher (140)
4 x Reroll (200)
5 x FF

First two skills - give the catchers block

Not hugely adventurous, I admit, but it is quite an attack-minded line-up. Could be worth dropping a reroll for a sub.

Alternately drop a catcher, a thrower and 3 FF and you could afford an ogre and another lineman.

griff and the vamp are both well able to win games. I would try to get them both in a 1.1 type tourni. They both can dominate games with ease.

Hehe, yeah that would be nice but nearly impossible. How would the roster look like where you includen them both?

The two rosters i had in mind are:

Griff
2 Blitzer
1 Thrower
1 Catcher
6 Lineman
1 Apo (or Lineman)
3 RR
1 FF
(or getting a 3rd Bitzer for a RR? But 2 RR seems too low...?)

or

4 Blitzer
1 Thrower
2 Catcher
4 Lineman
1 Apo (or Lineman)
1 Wizard
3 RR
3 FF
(or maybe dumb one Blitzer for another two Lineman and FF 2)
Any comments or better ideas on these? Thanks.

Take the Vampire instead of Griff.
He will be more usefull and fun to play.

Mhh Hypnotic Gaze sucks and i dont know if changing one more ST point against 5 more MA (with Sprint and Sure Feet) and Leap....?

I disagree! I would go for Griff. He can go for 11 squares with a reroll. He is the you can get for the defence and offence. IMO

Humans are't a team to score within two turns.

And he mentioned that he will have fun with this team.So I would prefer Count L for the job.
