I'd just like to complain about my luck some more. In the last game my norse played they had 4 casualties caused to them. ALL DEAD!

Why me?

Dunno about RIP, this one keeps coming back in the best horror tradition.

As long as there is Bloodbowl, there wil be Bloodbowl players getting necks broken (If they're lucky! :P )

As a Skaven Coach, I'm fully aware of how fragile a team can be. The first ever league I played in was a massacre. In about 3 or 4 games, I lost:

4 Linerats
2 Gutterunners
1 Thrower

All because of a misprint in the BB handbook: Every team was alledgedly allowed to use Morgth'n'Hthrorg as a Star Player - I was the only one in a league of 6 players that didn't use him, for the sake of my pride.
In retaliation, I disbanded and started up from scratch: Instead of a 13th lineman and 2nd reroll I bought a Rat Ogre, whose first match was against Halflings...

"Tiny" - 6639 Mighty Blow, Prehensile Tail, Block.
0TD 0Passes 0Catches 7 Casulties in two matches (Halfling Coach wanted a rematch, as soon as he'd painted a Tree Man. THEN guess who won the "Invade the Pitch!" roll at the start of the game...? FIREWOOD, FOLKS!)

Revenge was sweet.

Then I played the Orc team, with Varag Ghoul-Chewer and Morg'n'Thorg in the front line.....

Bye, Tiny: You will be missed, my friend...... :(

It wasn't who I killed (a rookie Human Blitzer who'd played three games) it was who killed him. Stewpot Hooligan, a regular 'fling with the addition of the Block skill (every team needs an enforcer, and it adds fluff, erm i mean character :D). He had an assisted block (with one Ronan Bellyboy) and killed him outright on the pitch, the Apothecary failing his job.

Ok, not such a great player like all of yours but here goes:

Faustus Firestarter Dark Elf Blocker 7 4 3 8
Block, Dodge, Sprint, Sure Feet

One time league leading touchdown scorer and (too) frequent MVP. He was killed early in the game against the Northern Furies Chaos team, Apthecaried back to life and then killed by them again in the second half! Ironically, with all of linemen desperately needing SSP's he posthumously won the MVP award for the game.

Final SPP's 38

Limpin Lina, witch elf:
7/4/5/8 : Block, Dodge, Frenzy, Jump Up, Diving Tackle (old rules)

match vs goblins...the goblin ball carrier is (suspisciously, in hindsight) lonely standing there waiting to blitzed. Lina goes in to take out the little grot, turns out he has diving tackle (old rules, free block if you enter his TZ). I say: 'ok, hit me' and he proceeds to throw down a "stiletto" special play card (play instead of block, treat as POW + break armour) and roll double '6' to kill my best player EVER. Use my apo: fails (of course), give my winnings for his apo: also fails.

Ziggy Zzzit, Skaven Catcher

9/2/5/7, Block, Dodge, Leap

killed in the 2nd turn by a Troll-Slayer. The Apo had been used in the 1st turn when my other Catcher with Horns/Dauntless received a niggling injury. :(

Wulf Sternhammer - Norse Blitzer - 20+ game vet of the REBBL Nordland Wolves

Useless git had managed a measly 2(!) cas in the 20+ games he'd played, and nothing else, for a grand total of 4 SPP's.

Coach told the Apo to stay sitting.

Namenloser died

In my eyes the best offensive player of our league. He died by 5 Highelfes jumping on him, when he was lying defenceless on the floor. Needed Apo at the beginning of the game to protect my other Gutterrunner with dauntless getting niggling injury.

In the same game a stormvermin died. The game before, Lui Legionär (Lino with block, horns) died.

Namenloser (Nameless):

MA 9, ST 2, AG 4, AV 8
dodge, sure hands, leap, very long legs, catch, block

He made 19 TD and 8 compl.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

please share a moment of silence for the best Goblin Catcher ever: Kenny

He died when Troll Atze picked him up just to let him struggle free and crash his head on the ground....

The opposite coach couldn't help but yell: OH MY GOD, THEY KILLED KENNY!!

All i could do was yelling at my team: YOU BASTARDS!!

It took us a good while laughing before we finally managed to get this game going on....

But what is my team without its star Kenny?? How could i ever replace him? :-?
