Brushes
When painting I use a GW detail brush most of the time.
Are there any brushes that are even smaller to paint eyes or other small details?

when i first started painting i was pretty clumsy, and although im not perfect now (been doing it for 3 and a half years), i have improved greatly... practice makes perfect as they say!
I suggest doing what mtn_bike suggested though... but not what his friend did (if i used them I'd be a bit worried of scratching off the paint on the model)

Eyeballs can be done pretty well using a round-tipped toothpick

That's because the ones who show their minis are the better painters.(And some have been painting since the 2nd edition.EmperorNorton wrote:Actually I'm already much better than when I started haf a year ago. But I doubt I'll reach the level of most painters that show their minis on here.
EmperorNorton
So don't think you will never reach that level.

Here are my two best friends in my universe for doing eyes and really fine detail.
WINSOR & NEWTON SERIES 7 KOLINSKY MINIATURE BRUSH SIZE 000

AND
SAKURA Pigma Micron .20mm (0005) black (I also use the blue, green, and red version for eyes and details as well)

I seriously recommend these items.
And my special thanks to Jennifer Haley who introduced these items to me.

GalakQuote from Jennifer Haley:
If you are frustrated with how your painting turns out, and you've been using those brushes sold by Games Workshop...those brushes are almost certainly part of the problem. The one that comes with the paint set isn't good for much more than mixing colors.

A easy way to paint eyes:
Paint all black.
Then two ways:
First way:
- Paint a white line across.
- One last black line in the middle up-down
Second way:
- Paint two white points and let the middle zone black (easier than paint a good centered black point).
I use the second way with good results.
