What is the difference between the old and new Zombie Box?

Hey there guys!

I just wanted to ask whats the differnce between the old zombie Box, where you see the miniatures on the pic (see here http://i13.ebayimg.com/03/i/02/5a/45/39_1.JPG ), and the one where there is a painted pic on it (as seen here http://www.gwindi.net/images/99120207001.jpg and yes I know its freakin small

)

The main purpose of these zombies will be for my Necro and Undead team.
Which one do you think is better for conversions?

as far as I know, same models, different packaging (to co-incide with 6th Ed release)...

they rock for conversions, have fun!

Why is every necro and undead player always using zombies and never skeletons?
I mean isnt +1 MA better for a player who stands around doing nothing anyway?

For standing around, +1AV is way better than +1MA. That's what the zombies do better than the skellies. Stand on the line and get hit. Sometimes you see a dirty player skellie because there the point of MA matters.

Unly classic Undead Teams have that choice anyway. Necros only get Zombies.

as being a fantasy undead player, the older box is almost the same as the newer one, cept the newer one comes with a command sprue.

Why do Zombies need a command sprue?...don't they get their commands from the necromancer or vamp that brought them out anyway? And on the redundancy note... I picked up an Undead Troll fig the other day and here's the question that came up as I was checking out.

"Undead Troll?... What's the point of an Undead Troll?... Does he get to regenerate twice?"
