Thanks for the comments on the colour scheme.

I'm pleased this has been remarked on. I had these choice of colours in mind for a while before starting them. I think that colour choice can really make a fig. Needed to be 100% sure it would work and I guess it's paid off.

Cheers!

It's not just the colour scheme that makes the team (although it helps). It's also how well it's painted.

Well, the team is _very_ nicely done. I'm really impressed!
The detail is very high on these figures. I think that they would not look out of place in a painting competition, for sure!

Very impressive! The gloss finish to the boots and gloves, combined with 'realistic' rendering of the metal and detailed faces makes for some very fine miniatures.

The question is, with paintwork like that, would you game with them?

The other men team is finished too

I can have a go at taking some pics with my digital camera but they won't come out as well as these ones. Worth a shot though.

Someone must know a decent web host that can keep them online too.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Yee Hah!! How 'bout them Cowboys!! Seriously though, REALLY nice job. I'm really surprised that painters don't look more at both Pro and College Football teams for color schemes (I know I usually don't that often!! ). And I'm not implying that Munkey meant for them to look like the Dallas Cowboys. Sometimes it just happens (in this case to a rousing success!! 8) ). My First team of Humans mistakenly came out like the White Power Ranger (WAY before I even knew what a Power Ranger was, THEN I actually saw an episode! and... :o ) I STILL love that color scheme and THIS one too!!

They're really great. I particularily like the armour. Might have something to do with the picture, but is that really metallic paint? Or something else?

Guess they do look a bit like the Cowboys. Didn't really think of that before.

The metal is just Bolt Gun Metal, Black Ink and Mithril Silver. Nothing unusual.

Nice figs. Make the metal humans look a lot better than they normally do.

These and your Chaos team make me glad I don't give a rats arse about painting. (   )
