Very cool! I like the colour scheme, subtle evil. Although many people don't like 2nd ed Delfs much, I'm fond of them. It was my first (and only) BB team for many years...

But why don't you finish painting your other teams first?

I like to mix it up a bit. I find I can get a bit bogged down when aiming to paint a whole team in a row so I'll paint an Elf one day then an Orc and then a Human and so on. Stops the monotony you know. :D

Yeah, I know what you mean - the poor old 2nd Ed Dark Elves aren't very popular. Personally, I love 'em and they were my first team I bought too back in '88.

One day I'll get my 2nd ed Delfs painted and they gonna have very dark blue/bone colourscheme ("The Punisher" looakalike). The skulls on the shirt are great for that.

I'm planning to paint a 3rd Ed Dark Elf team soon. I already have a team painted from 8 years ago but I reckon they're a little dated now so I want to try them again and get away from the purple and black stigma and go for a bright kit with lots of checks and stripes.

I really like your paintings a lot. Good stuff.
I also like those 2nd ed. Dark Elves. When I get to paint my team I´ll go for a similar colour scheme as narkotic with some kind of bone armor.

Keep up the good work.

Personally I never like the look of the 2ed DEs (I sold off the team I had), but you make them look good!

I'm another one who's never been a fan of the 2ed dark elves, but those pics are making me think again - nice work.

BTW are you the guy who works for Isle of Wight TV?

That's Juck101, you'll see him in one of these threads.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Good God, I'm not that idiot.
I'm only joking. That's Juck101 as Munkey has pointed out. He's one of my best friends. Juck's great and a good painter too.

Wish I could see them, but I get the dreaded red X. I was always a fan of the despised 2E dark elves, though, and I'm about to start redoing my own team of them in the next few days. Assuming the project doesn't turn out to be biting off more than I can chew (which I have a bad tendency to do at times), I should have my own pics up in a week or two.

hmm cheers but you will not confuse me with Laxon - his figs rock. I only ever paint with lurid colours - Laxon has more taste.
