This fig originally started out life as Kaleb Daark from the Citadel comic from the 1980's (for those who remember). This was the mounted version who has been given the legs of a classic Chaos Marauder below the knee and the ball & hand of a 2nd edition Dark Elf thrower. He actually only took about 40 minutes to convert.

He is due to be added to the grandstand of BB figs on Narkotic's site.

As Juck states, he is a bit pricey these days when seen on Ebay. This fig was missing his right hand when I found him in a shop in Portsmouth several years ago so I didn't really regret chopping him up despite his rare status. I really love his helmet - a bit like Torquemada from the Nemesis the Warlock comics.

Awesome! Really like the guy with the wings on his helm and the ball in his hand (just like everyone else), great looking team.

Very nice team. To my eyes, the colours shouldn't work together, but they do.

Does anyone have a link to a pic of the unconverted Kaleb Daark? Might have to raid my mates mini's boxes, see what he's got stashed in there...

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

am I the only one who doesn't like the wingedhelmet guy al lot?
I think the legs look very silly.
and that righthand/arm doesn't looks to fit with the rest of the arm.
he is like standing totaly frozen only that right arm is moving..
doesn't look right for me..
but its nicely painted
just like the other guys, I realy like the nr6 with the prehensile tail. That skintone is realy nice.

I like the colours but maybe a little less metalic would be nice I think.

But a realy nice team laxon !

I have a standing Kaleb Daark with the pick that is ultimately slated for conversion. I don't care about the rarity of minis at all. They're on my table for my pleasure, not theirs. He's getting the saw as soon as I get to my Chaos team!

Good man! he is my fav fig i think still, but the day i get one he does need to play BB. Regret not buying one so far but always loose him at above £30 mark.

Start checking those larger Warhammer lots closely. Most of the rarer figs I own have been bought for pennies on the dollar in lots like this. After piecing out stuff I don't want to keep, the minis I do keep are free or better.
