Oh, i thought it was meant to say "this side up" as hobgoblins are always pictured as completely stupid and unable to tie their boot laces in the fluff. So i thought the arrows were there to speed up the pregame dressing processsnotsngrots wrote:I don't get it. Ah, so it was you ...snotsngrots wrote:I did that trimming and we already had this conversation.Tim wrote:Funny that Norse made the same mistake i did when clipping the weapon from the warhammer bull centaur ... removing the upper part of the horn. And that he obviously thought (same as me) ... "ah, battle worn look, no need to get the greenstuff out"The broken horn fit nicely with a BB team on a shoestring budget. Norse did the knuckledusters though.

Hey guys, yes, I'm still in Aruba....
er... the arrows are because the HobGobs are meant to be Robbers and the CDs are meant to be Cops.. the team is called the Indiana Police Colts after all...
funny how so many people need that explained to them, maybe I could have made it more apparent somehow...
and I assure you no offence has been taken... these are what I call level 2 and I would never pretend otherwise... they are no where near my best work - took me about 2 hours per model except Mino which took about 4, so I'm just glad Snots is happy... I would also say that the official CD models are really very ordinary and would be difficult to do a really first class job on... one day I'll convert my own team... but probably not this decade...
and you're right, my pics are way worse than Snots... I should try to borrow a crappier camera...
Catch up in a few days when I'm back in the cold wet North...

I wouldn't have gotten the "prison uniform" thing, being from the states, if I hadn't seen some of the old Benny Hill jailbreak-type sketches which had those type of prison garb in them.
So I got the gist of that, but that the CD's were cops? That one blew right past me.

It is subtle agreed.
UK cops are dark blue (traditionally I think) with black and white checks. See side of bull centaur on the right and shoulder pads of C.D's
