Albion Wight - Please stop PMing me! ;)

Post by Emberbreeze »

After the millionth PM about the Albion Wight I'm just making an announcement that I currently don't have any to sell. Sorry

I am aware there is quite alot of interest in people getting hold of one of these models but it is really up to Mike (the sculpter) what he does with the model at this point. Last I heard he was 'thinking' of getting a 'few' more cast up and sold just to finance another sculpting project, but he is very busy atm and it may be some time before anything gets sorted out.

As for the trophy, we made a desicion to make the trophy limited edition and the only way to get one was to win one, or help out with the tournament in some way. Sorry but you can always come to next years Albion Coast Cup and win one :)

If your interested there were a total of 52 Wights cast to date and 27 trophies, 12 of which are in circulation.

I'll point out this post to Mike and get him to update it if anything changes in the availabilty of the Wight.

Thanks for letting us know. I guess there is even more interest than just the ones who pmed you. Making another cast run and selling them will make you end better at the end than auctioning the few left. If you want to finance future projects (minis or the next tourney) it would be a great thing to do.

@Emberbreeze
thanks for the informations about the wight and trophy here and for PM to me yesterday.

Well, i just added the wight to my new "selfmade BB mini section" (together with Galak´s BBnet mini) and used the wight picts i found at TBB until i get my digicamera back from repair to take picts of MY wight ! :D

Ah, dont search for the new section at my website now... i will relaunch this section with new my site soon.

actually Galaks mini is not "self made" in a technical sense. It was designed, sculpted and cast by GW. He just obtained the rights to run a limited cast run.

I would classify minis that are entirely sculpted and cast without GW playing any role as self made (Albion, Fondu, Carnage etc)
