How to spend 80000 gps?
My dwarf team, The Cheery Littlebottoms, have played their first match. Not only have I lost 1:2, but to add injury to insult one of my Runners got a niggling...
But at least I got a decent income and now have to decide how to spent 80000 gps. I currently have 1 Slayer, 2 Blitzers, 2 Runners, 6 Longbeards and 2 RRs.
It's either a new Longbeard, a RR or the Apo...what would you pick?

two things you can do:
#1 - buy a new runner. The problem is you really need two ball handlers and even though you also have 2 blitzers, no one else can get that ball without burning your RR...and you only have 2.
#2 - Buy the APO and use it if your 2nd runner niggles out to enable him to play. The chances of you needing an APO for in game injuries are a little slim AV 9 so maybe go that route. Of course Nuffle Sucks so you might get burned. If he turns out to be able to play then you are all good.
Of course the big problem is he will always have a niggle so you are playing with fire in that if he gets some SPPs and then starts getting skills you have the possiblility of one of your better players niggling out. That also takes away SPP from healthy players. If this was an established team I would say keep him around.
Totally up to you!

I'd probably go for a RR
A niggle is only going to miss about 1 our of every 6 games..not that devastating.,
Dwarves need RR's
Buying a RR reduces your TR by 4, so helps you earn a little more money in the future games.
That being said, buying a Runner will actually reduce your TR by 8 (since you have to retire the niggled one 1st)...so by that reasoning, the runner is better.

Don't get another Longbeard..you have 6 already and shouldn't need more than that for a long time...you need a 2nd slayer before a 7th longbeard.
After thinking a bit more, get a new runner. a niggle isn't that bad, but you are down to 10 players next game without replaceing the runner in some way. By buying a runner, you keep your TR lower and thus increase future winngs slightly. And you have 4 agily 3 players for the next game.

With AV9, your guys shouldn't be getting hurt that often... You are playing dwarves. You should hurt them before they hurt you.
there is a 1 in 72 chance of an injury worse than BH to one of your dwarves, once they get knocked down, so you should be relatively safe from any bad injuries... Just keep your runner/troll slayer safe, since they are av8
