Yes, the ogres are all Reaper minis. I couldn't even find any GW ogres in my city. The two local hobby shops have not received GW catalogues either. Oh well, Reaper minis are much less expensive and look great! (am I going to get lynched now?)

I've got to work on my digital camera skills. The photos look a bit too shiny and washed out. They are far more impressive in real life.

Bonehead wrote:Is he meant to be thrown by an ogre or just a super gobbo? Anyway, great idea. :P
I use him as a marker to mark the square where I plan to throw a goblin. He seems to be a favorite among my fellow Blood Bowlers.

Of course you are not going to be lynched. Actually it´s the best and, as you said, the cheapest way to go.

He rocks! I´ll copy that idea if you wouldn´t mind. This one has some potential for a goblin just landing with the ball in the hand:

His hands/arms and the ball and chain are seperate parts so this is going to be a quite simple conversion.
Thanks for that great idea again.

I wasn't sure if this board was full of rabid GW fans or not. I've heard some pretty frightening stories about such people...

You wouldn't be the first. ;-)

Where did you get this mini? He'd be great for a ball & chain secret weapon. Is that what the figure was originally for?

Yes, it´s a ball and chain fanatic.
Check this link:

And the best is that he is lying just in front of me right now.
Too bad I´ve no time, otherwise I would start converting him right now.

For those able to visit my gallery, I now cropped every photo and added one or two more minis. I also added a small gallery of the minis as I was working on them.

Those look great! Well worth the wait! I'm a big fan of the Reaper products. And don't worry about us being GW fanatics. 98% of us seem to hate GW.....

Thanks! They really do look much more impressive in reality. I've got to take some photos of them without a flash...

I would've gladly bought some GW minis had they been reasonably priced (i.e. about 50% of what they are now). I think I prefer having a nice variety of guys anyway.
