Rat Ogre/Minotaur + Sure Feet

Post by Dam »

Recently I've been thinking about giving one of these BGs Sure Feet. Both have block already, so the prime concern has been covered. Just to clarify, no they are not on the same team  . My line of thinking behind this is, that both of these BGs have Frenzy, but since they can't use TRRs, it's a bit risky trying to GFI blitz the extra square if you want/need it. With Sure Feet a RO could blitz a player 6 squares away and still toss 2 blocks, giving him a bigger area of coverage. I know there's the chance of 1/6 of him not blitzing, but goes with the territory. Anybdy have any experience with this skill on the BGs? What do you think, would it be useful experiment?

Dont know which Rule Book your playing but if its LRB then there are better skills to get on a double like Pro/Leader. Sure feet is useless if he fails his bonehead/Wild Animal anyway. And you can use the Pro/Leader on either of a failed Bonehead or Sure feet.

Tentacles would be a better skill also

well it'd pritty much double the Mv on a treeman... :o
i do soppose that you begin to run out of things to give RO's and Mino's on dubs... and your logic sounds reasonable...

Yes, it's LRB. But BG's can take General and Strength skills on a normal skill roll. At least according to 3.0. And Sure Feet is skill at least a minute ago when I looked in the LRB.

(confused here)

Of course on a double, I'll take mutations.

Stand firm is helpful as well, makes the frenzy/sidelines play easier.
But don't take leader on a big guy, take pro in that case.

I Pro is the way to go I would recommend. You can use it for everything he does. That means Wild Animal rolls, Blocks, GFIs, Dodges, ect ect ect...

guys, he was asking if Sure Feet was a good idea on a NORMAL roll, not on doubles. he misread the skill list.

btw, sure feet would be good if it was available :)

Why waste a double on pro now when it will be a skill at the end of the month again?

Maybe his league is going to stay with LRB 3.0 rules?
