Hello Enthusiasts.
I played Blood Bowl with a friend's team many years ago, and I've recently bought a Bloodbowl set of my very own. However I am a little disappointed with the unpainted players.
I've never painted anything smaller than a kitchen before, and was wondering what the shortest time a fat-fingered novice can hope to paint a team in?
I'm well impressed by the devotion to detail exhibited by some TBBers! However my aim would be to give the players a little colour and character as *quickly* as possible.
I've read lot's of FAQs but the methods all seem quite time consuming, so any pointers or links to quick & dirty methods would be appreciated.
I've also:
x searched for pre-painted teams (none appear commercially available)
x tried eBay, waited a week and been beaten at the last minute by a pound. Twice.
x looked at some UK based painting services, but is (presumably) a high quality job at £5 * 30 players = £75 + £40 purchase price.
Thanks for reading.
Cheers
moon
Off-topic: This is the first time I've looked at eBay - an auction with a time-limit seems inherently flawed. It seems to come down to who can time the last bid. Or am I missing something?

Yeah, that does work. Id rather 'paint" the stuff on it though, you get more control.
Tip; start with rather light colors, as they will get darker after dipping.
Piccies of some dipped-painted minis:

edit; better models I think...

after:

Still, if you just "carefully" paint them, they can look rather good. And spray a non-gloss varnish afterwards (24 hrs later, so that everything is dry). GW Purity-seal or something.
They look shiney in the pictures, but IRL they are not THAT shiney. but, for "rank and file", or warhammerquest minis like these, or a fast-painted bb-team, they are okay.
edit; I did repaint some of his green skin though, but that's a personal preference.
