Skill Progression Question
Hey guys, just looking for advice
I play Ogres today for the final game of the regular season., then the playoff, which will most likely be against Dark Elves or Human (with Ogre). I am thinking my opponent will be Humans.
Wood Elf
Wardancer: Block, Dodge, Leap, Stripball, Tackle, double 5's
Wardancer: Block, Dodge, Leap, Mighty Blow, double 4's
Catcher: Block, Dodge, Catch, Sidestep. Shadowing
Catcher: Block, Dodge, Catch, Passblock
Thrower: Pass
Line Elf: Dodge
Line Elf: Dodge
Line Elf: Dodge
Line Elf: Dodge
Line Elf: Leader
Line Elf: Kick
Line Elf: Block
Line Elf:
2 Rerolls, 6 FF (damn 1's) Apothecary and 80K
What to take on those WD's? I use the first one as a backfield sweeper, waiting for anyone to come deep, then goes and knocks the ball free.
The other WD is a hunter, I blitz with him every turn just about
I was thinking take the MV on the first one, and Frenzy on the other. Gives him that second chance for a knockdown, and forces my opponent to stay away from the sidelines. I am not a fan of jump up, because I play very safe with my WDs, almost always protecting them, so rarely should they be down on the pitch.
I play pretty wide open style defense, always dodging away so the opponent only gets one blitz for a hit each turn, and with the passer now, I favor a wide open offense.
Thanks for your time guys.

1st: +MA - it will make him even better - a GREAT PLAYER
2nd: Guard - then he can Leap into cage and the other WD can Leap too and make 2 dice Blitz
- great play against sure hands cage.
but frenzy is good, too

Nine out of ten goblins wouldn't miss it for a one-way Troll Air ticket to the end-zone!

Dauntless is a possible for WD number 2. You're playing Ogres next and then maybe a Human team with an Ogre. Frenzy is good but can be a liability on an ST3 player. Personally I'd take guard with a view to take sideatep next. A blodge guard is a pain in the ass, a side stepping Blodge Guarder is even worse.
First WD I'd consider taking MB instead of the move. WD are you're main hitters so you might as well make the most of those blocks. +MA might be useful with your style of defence using your WD as a backfield sweeper. It means he can get anywhere from the centre square. However with MV8 your opponent will have had to really sucker you for a WD to be that far out of position. In fact I think +MA would make him a much better prosepect for pressuring the kick than acting as sweeper. On reflection I'd take the move with a view to taking shadowing, side step and diving tackle. Not necessarily in that order.
With the games your likely to face next I'd recommend trying to get another shadower on the team. One is relatively easy to evade using a blitz. Two can start to give people major headaches. Same goes for pass block. Especially against humans that don't have quite enough speed or quite enough agility to deal with those skills.

I wouldn't take the +ma, because you are a lot faster than all your future opponents without the stat-increase.
Vs the Ogres or the humans dauntless could be nice, but i would only take that if you have to take care of str 4+ ball-carriers. Dless would be of no use against the de though and your blitzer should have other priorities than to blitz an oger/big guy.
I would give mighty blow to the first, for blitzing gobos/human catchers or blodging blitzers/witchelves to get those dodgers of the pitch and frenzy to the second to get some guys of the pitch via the sidelines.
You could also take guard for one or both.
