SF is very good, though that +1 Av (Vault 1.6) is awfully tempting - Guards get hit a lot.

SF has been toned down in the vault though to make it on a par with the other ST skills. You no longer have the risk free dodge element. Id still take dodge.

It's make him survive standing more
and means he is more able to get where you want him.

ideal for a guard...

yes i know SF is good too, but kinda useless, as he WILL go down without block or dodge.

I'd take dodge and if he's lucky enough to get another double at some point Side Step. A Blodge Side Step Guard is what I'd aim for, your opponents will hate him!
