the "Hochsleben Hamsters"
I made this on FUMBBL, I've won 2, lost 2, and been incredibly lucky all over (praise nuffle).
My team now is:
Blitzer, Block, Mighty Blow
Blitzer, Block, Mighty Blow
Blitzer, Block, STR+1
Blitzer, Block
Thrower, Pass, Sure Hands, Accurate
Thrower, Pass, Sure Hands
Catcher, Catch, Dodge, Block
Catcher, Catch, Dodge, Block
6 Linemen with no skills
3 Re-rolls
3 Cheerleaders (I spent money on the models so the girls stay!)
1 Apothecary
How do you think the team's going? What should I purchase in the future? (an ogre is low on my list, I just don't like them very much)

Looking ok, though the Mighty Blow on both blitzers wouldn't have been my choice, Tackle or Guard would have been the more useful options IMHO, maybe even Strip Ball on one.
If you are in the safe position to do so, you should try to score some completions or TD's with linemen, Kick and Dirty Player are too useful to pass up, and at least 3 block liners for the LOS are always nice.
I'd say your next buys would be a Catcher, a RR, last Catcher, and then the ogre (others might not agree, but I think humans are a 'finesse' team, not a bashing team.)
Depending on your style of play the catchers can be central to your defense if you give them stuff like Pass Block, Sidestep and Diving Tackle.
Plenty of options besides these, as humans are one of the most versatile teams out there, but as I said, that really depends on your style of play.

I see this line as well- another Catcher to feed TDs for a Pass Block and Kick player to change the nature of your defense against both pass and caging teams. Ogre to hold the line, even if he doesn't move.Gorbad wrote:I'd say your next buys would be a Catcher, a RR, last Catcher, and then the ogre (others might not agree, but I think humans are a 'finesse' team, not a bashing team.)

And I wholeheartly agree- Tackle before Mighty Blow always.
