HE Blitzer rolled +AG

Do I take the AG, or go for another skill instead? I was really hoping to turn this guy into a blodger quick, we had our first night of league tonight (2 matches per week) so the only other player I have on the team who has skilled is a Lino who I gave Kick. Playing 9 linemen and 2 blitzers on my roster, have 2 RR, 6 FF (had 7, lost one after first game) and picked up an apo after my first game.

I have a feeling the AG boost will be what people feel I should take (and im leaning heavily towards it), but would there be any skills I should snag now or just save getting skills for later and not look a gift horse in the mouth? If I take the AG, is there anything "different" from usual progression I should look to take on him in the future? Our league is a mixed bag, we have humans, orcs, lizzies, 2 DE's, amazons, dwarves, and norse: in case that makes a difference what I should look for. I play the lizzies and amazons next week.

Why not go for the +AG, Leap routine? I developed a HE-Blitzer in the same way and he turned out to be a jumping monster (oh right, 3 TZs..tackle...interesting...now what if i just leap to the square over HERE *hop* and run for a safe TD) it's somehow cute, seeing him do this stuff

(got him Dodge and Sidestep later)

You play an Ag team and AG 5 is really great.You can easily dodge into two tackle zones and picking up the ball shouldn't be a problem.
And if you give him leap for his next skill he will be a very valuable player for your team.

So take the Ag+.

Always take + ag on anyone with ag 3 or more.

Zy-nox beat me to it but I would go with AG5 and Pass Block.
Then if you are lucky enough to get doubles again, catch would make this guy a tyrant!

hmm, ag5 + leap *would* be very nice. passblock I'm sure is a valuable skill, but it seems many of the coaches in my league are somewhat refrained from passing the ball.

I'll take the AG and look to take leap or dodge next. And maybe strip ball later if the guy lives that long

A HE blitzer needs doubles for catch? Thought it was an Ag skill?

Anyways, Ag5 on any elf is nice and couldn't go wrong with leap or pass block after that. Mate of mine had an Ag5 WD and it was an absolute nightmare to deal with (short of bringing to the ground and putting the boots to it

).

Take the +AG but dont forgett to let some others also do some work for your Team. Your Linos also need some TD´s and Passes etc.

Dont go for Pass-Block its great but there are not many "Pass-game-Teams" in your group, and you will not often get into the right position. Make him a Touchdown-maker oder an Attacker

A HE-player in my league was extremly lucky, he got two linemen with AG5 (one with passblock), and a blitzer with ST5(and blodge). Almost Impossible to stop.
I was the only one to ever win against him, maybe it was the blade I put in the back of Elia(his blitzer) or the wiz. (didnt hit anything with that fireball but I sure must have frighened him). 2-1 victory, even though he killed my blodge, dauntless, MB-WE.

catch is an AG skill, dont need dubz for that. but i plan to recruit some catchers later in the season anyway, I'd like to reserve my blitzer for attacking the ballcarrier and running wherever i need him.

I cant imagine an elf blitzer with st5, pitch dark.... that's just crazy
