Dwarven thrower

From Hasslefree

Put a hand holding a ball in place of the left hand and sword, and voila!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

That's a pretty crappy mini. The sword looks like a big paddle and the head is to small. I don't even want to mention that it's quite hairfree for a Dwarf. Maybe he's a Halfling disciplinarian.

I actually bought this one with the same idea im mind (ie to convert to a thrower) for a project I was planning, a kilted dwarf team (not enough kilted dwarves around, and the Celtos dwarves aren't really good to convert for BB)

Or that's just the sculptor's idea of a dwarf (I think most of the dwarves in this line look that clean cut)- I agree about the sword looking like a paddle though.

I like the fig. Kev from hasslefree is a very talented sculptor. And if you don't like the beardless fig it dosn't take much to give him a greenstuff beard.

at the risk of asking a stupid question  what scale is he...

in the picture he looks like a strong human more than a Dwarf... is he shorter than a standard human model or...

a pic showing him next to another model would be great if anyone could do that??

This can be an easily converted mini into a dwarf thrower. I would usre the GS idea for the beard and take it farther by making longer hair!

I am currently converting this Reaper mini,

into a goblin thrower.
