more paint in the pots (ergo even cheaper)

dropper pots (makes recreating colour mixes easier)
pots don't dry out

games workshop

um good availability (if you think going into a gw store as being an advantage)

uk get them from http://www.wargamesworkshop.co.uk

plus, the GW paint pots = poop.

IMO, I still like the old GW paint distributer. I liked the old hex paint flip tops and the old cylinder paint pots.

hell most of my paints are still from that time. all the paint pots from GW's sscrew tops have dried out or are impossible to open unless I am the Hulk.

Vallejo is very nice, but if you want cheaper, better than GW. Coat'd Arms is just as good.

Yeah, I use Coat D'Arms. They're good paints, reasonably priced and come in decent pots.

Still, I might have to give Vallejo a go as everyone keeps saying how goods they are. Any problems mixing/blending them with Coat D'Arms/Citadel paints?

although the new citadels are flip tops....with the size and shape unchaged from screws...quality is still so so though

Isn't Coat D'Arms the "old" Citadel paint? (Old as in old mixture, not old as in being sat in a warehouse for years.)

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Yes, i`m still using the old gw pots, thanks mainly due to gw selling them off for 10p a pot when they brought the new ones out :D
