Got a great idea and/or proposal for BloodBowl?

If you take away most of the chance there is less likelihood that it will even out in one game, then it will just be more annoying when one player does get that lucky 1-100 break.
but overall the chance of luck deciding the game are smaller,

I do not like houserules at all, because they may cause additional unbalances that the designers kept out.

The criticals in BB cannot easily be compared to the criticals in RPGs, because of the active hand of a good DM in those games. The DM can keep the game enjoyable for a well-playing player with really bad luck, but in BB the results of the dice are fixed.

Added:
I made the first post to get people to think about the fundamentals of the game and if changing those could make the game even more enjoyable.
Galak's remark made it is clear that the 1-6 critical mechanism was just incorperated because all GW games have that mechanism.
